Wednesday Randomness

Messy tree sketchy by Moi

Happy Wednesday! Just when we thought Spring was here, Winter, ice, snow and freezing-to-death temperatures reared their ugly turtle head  out of nowhere.  I've hobbled on my injured knee for a while now. The couch and my pajama pants really should thank me since they were doused in an Antiseptic bath this morning as I was supposed to be tending my wound. Off popped the lid and half of the bottle flew out like an indoor white trash version of Niagara Falls.  Not easy like Sunday morning which only makes sense considering its not Sunday morning.  Anyway, I've neglected this baby blog of mine for the past few days. That dreaded Creative block has actually left the building so I'm trying to take full advantage. I promise to catch up with everyone soon!

  2. You know, you said that like being injured and suffering a bout of winter was an excuse.

Oh wait. It was an excuse. I'm looking forward to reading your brand of crazy. And anyone who admits to pajama pants is awesome. Because I practically live in mine when I don't have to leave the house.

  3. Pajama pants are pure win. Especially when you're suddenly stuck indoors because of an ill-timed snowstorm.

  4. Sorry to hear your knee is still bad, between the weather and creative block you have my sympathy.

  5. I stopped wearing PJs eons ago. Too confining. Just plain ole undies for me. Hurry up and get better and get your bad self back to the blog where you belong. I miss your irreverence.

  7. I know how it is to have downtime due to an injury. I had to have major surgery on my leg in September and it took me three months to recover.

I hope you don't give up writing like I did. I regret not using my blog as therapy.

I'm glad that period of my life is over. Reading your blog inspires me to keep creating.

    Thank you!

  9. ...love the tree sketch. If I were walking in it I can totally picture one of the branches reaching down to grab me.
